Our Mission:
For over 30 years, Gordon LaSalle School of Music has offered a full spectrum of instrumental and voice lessons.
Our faculty provides excellent musical instructrions to students of all levels, from preschool to adults.
Our faculty are musicians/teachers who have commited themselves to teach at a high standard.
Your personally selected private instructor will get to know you and will design customized
lesson plans to fit your particular musical needs and goals.
Recitals
Students will benefit from recitals to gain self confidence while expressing themselves
through their music. Throughout the year, recitals are mandatory for all students.

TUITION:
Private music instruction at Gordon LaSalle Music:
1/2 hour lesson: $25
45 minute lesson: $37.50
1 hour: $50
Method of payment:
Lessons may be paid for weekly, monthly, or quarterly.
For current students, monthly and quarterly tuition is due before the start of each month or quarter.
Holidays will be deducted from the balance when applicable (see below for observed holidays).
The time slot will be considered vacant if the student does not make payment by the date of their
last lesson of the month. All rates may vary and are subject to change.
For weekly and new prospective students, all payments must be paid at the front desk prior to first lesson.
Trial lessons are available for $25.
CANCELLATIONS:
If a teacher must cancel a lesson due to illness or inclement weather, he/she will reschedule with the student during the next lesson.
Cancellation for any lesson MUST be made AT LEAST 48 hours in advance by contacting the school:

Any make-up lesson must be made with the teacher on a case by case basis. Please contact the teacher
if cancelling due to an emergency or illness.
Students:
Each student will be expected to attend their weekly lesson. We will not compensate for tardiness,
so please be on time. Students are expected to practice as instructed by the teacher. Please provide
a notebook for instructions and notes.
Students must provide their own instrument or equipment for each lesson, with exception to pianos and amps.
All of these items will be discussed during the first meeting. If the student does not have a particular item,
Gordon LaSalle Music will provide a list of items to purchase.
Academic Calendar (2014):
Fall Session:
Begins on Sept 3rd
No lesson on Thanksgiving Day
Winter Session:
Begins December 1st
No lesson on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, or January 1st.
Lessons resume on January 2nd
Spring 2015 Sessions:
Begins March 2nd
No lesson on Easter Sunday or Memorial Day
SUMMER MUSIC LESSONS:
Begins after the July 4th holiday.
Individual teacher policies may include other holidays.
